Delete Your Account

In the app

Open Velent, go to Me, tap the settings icon, then Account, and choose Delete account. Confirm, and Velent deletes everything described below right away.

Without the app

Email support@velent.app from the address your account uses, or tell us which address that is, and ask us to delete your account. We'll do it within 30 days and let you know once it's done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

Your profile, sign-in, and the account itself
Every routine, task, goal, journal entry, habit experiment and time capsule
Your Vela conversations, and everything she's remembered about you
Your friends list, and your account from everyone else's friends list
Your accountability-partner pool entry, and any AI partner paired to you
Your uploaded photos: your profile photo, and anything you've added to tasks or posts
Your achievements, streak, and activity log

What stays

A few things live outside your own account, so deleting it doesn't reach them:

A message or photo you sent a friend stays in their copy of that conversation — it's part of their chat, not just yours
A shooting star you sent a friend stays on their account
Numbers a challenge already recorded, like a day's completion count, aren't rewritten, and a photo you added to a challenge may remain stored
A record of which onboarding step your install reached, kept with a random id rather than your name, isn't deleted — it's used only in aggregate
Crash reports aren't linked to your Velent account in the first place, so there's nothing account-specific to remove there

Subscriptions

Velent Pro is billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Deleting your Velent account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it first in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, or you'll keep being charged for a Pro you can no longer sign in to use.
